ALSACE, FRANCE
The Classic Pinot Blanc offers a fresh and fruity character with body and weight reflecting the grape varietals and the soil vineyard location.
Elegant with a hint of spice. Well-rounded yet delicate with perfect balance and length. Pairings: Delicious with roasted poultry dishes as well as spicy foods.
90 Points, Wine Enthusiast:
Expressive and aromatic, with delicate white raspberry, guava, and subtle elderflower and Meyer lemon notes. The palate is lively and textured, showing bright acidity and a savory, lingering finish. Balanced and precise, with moderate length and gentle complexity. — Aleks Zecevic
Founded in 1580, Léon Beyer is one of the oldest Alsatian family-owned estates. Owner Marc Beyer, 13th generation, along with his son, Yann Léon and daughter, Sophie Beyer, and a team of twenty members run the day-to-day. The estate farms 70 hectares, 20 of which are estate-owned with holdings in two choice Grand Cru sites; Eichberg and Pfersigberg. The farming is sustainable, and the winemaking is traditional with the use of modern techniques.
