CRAMANT, CHAMPAGNE, FRANCE
Guy Larmandier Cramant Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut Zero is a bone-dry, 100% Chardonnay Champagne from the Côte des Blancs. Sourced from chalky Cramant vineyards and aged at least 3 years, this cuvée features intense mineral character, high acidity, and notes of citrus, green apple, and wet limestone.
The nose is pure and focused, with aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, and wet limestone, evolving into subtle hints of toasted hazelnut. The palate is racy and structured, offering flavors of lemon curd, pear skin, & pronounced saline minerality, finishing long and chiseled.
Ideal for lovers of bone-dry Champagne, this *Brut Zero* pairs beautifully with raw oysters, caviar, or delicate seafood dishes. A fantastic example of terroir-expressive Chardonnay
From Chardonnay vines in the Grand Cru village of Cramant. The total absence of any sense of sweetness in this Brut Zéro allows the limestone to take center stage, and it presents in a more piercing and saline manner than in Larmandier’s Brut wines. Despite its relative rigorousness and austerity, however, this is by no means a difficult wine. Rather, it will appeal to those who relish the sort of palpable, intense mineral character Champagne is capable of when made in such a straightforward fashion. Aged 3 years sur lattes.
Guy Larmandier is one of the hidden gems of the Côte des Blancs, crafting precise and mineral-driven Blanc de Blancs from Grand Cru vineyards. This *Brut Zero* cuvée is sourced exclusively from the chalky slopes of Cramant, fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aged extensively on the lees for depth.
The cellars of Champagne Guy Larmandier are located in the village of Vertus at the southern base of the Côte des Blancs, while the Domaine holds 9 hectares of vineyards in the grand-cru-rated villages of Chouilly and Cramant and the 1er-cru Vertus and Cuis.
